This turtle's transmitter is no longer working.
Loggerhead 20779, named "Hasekura Tsunenaga" (after the Captain who sailed in 1614 from Sendai, Japan to Mexico), is still sending data also. This turtle has moved just south of where we released it. Probably was hanging around the pelagic foraging areas. This turtle was not nearly as active as its namesake!
